Never growing up

Christmas Chaos

Ok so I am one of those people that waits till the last minute to shop for gifts, its not because I enjoy the adrenaline rush, but rather simply that I am a procrastinator and can sometimes get picky. I don't really have a lot of gifts to shop for, I mean I'm not rolling in the money here. But I still find myself having a real hard time picking out presents for people, especially for my dad, and my mom too, but to a lesser extent. Shopping has been nuts, the other night me and violet went to wal-mart at 1 in the morning, and man was it a mess. And it seemed like there wasn't a lot of selection. Today I went to the mall and I actually had trouble parking, and that's weird considering I went to the small ghetto inland center mall, not like ontario mills or anything. I think I am pretty much done except for my dad, and its already the 23rd!!! I better ask around for ideas or something cause this is ridiculous.

So lately I have been sleeping a lot, shopping, watching movies, did some cleaning (amazing), and volunteered at the hospital. I still have other stuff I should be doing, but not a bad start. I am planning to also make appointments to go to the optometrist, and the dentist, and I need to take my car in for an oil change ASAP. Have wash my car tooo..... errrr....

Well anyways tonight I was driving home and I noticed the moon. It looked really cool tonight because there were clouds around the moon, and the moon which seemed especially bright gave the black clouds a nice white lining. It seemed like a nice clear night, I mean it is kinda cold and windy (I think my car said it was 51 degrees out). Yeah but right when I was almost crashing into things while admiring the moon, I saw smoke. Then I smelled it. It definitely seemed like something was on fire. I didn't know where it was coming from but I was only a block or two away from my house. After I parked my car in the driveway, I looked to the sky and it seemed as if the smoke was spreading. I almost drove back to where I thought the smoke originated from to check if there was a fire, "like as in my house is burning down fire". It was so quiet and it was 3 in the morning, I thought there might not be someone too call it in, I mean I didn't hear sirens. But I went into the house and after awhile heard sirens. Maybe I should have gone back, but that would have been crazy, me all by myself at 3 in the morning, investigating strange smoke. That's like straight out of a horror film, lol. But it would have been nice to go on an adventure minus the scariness.

Well Christmas is only 2 days away, and it seems as though I didn't really enjoy the pre-Christmas time, I was to preoccupied with other things, and now its almost over = ( It seems like a build-up to the holidays each year and it been a huge let down for the last couple years. Holidays for kids and adults are different I guess, I would give anything to enjoy Christmas like a kid again, those were the ol' good times. Well I'll do my best with what Christmas time there is left. =)
