Never growing up

Danielle and Violet

Danielle and Violet are my best friends. I meet them both around the same time- 8th grade, so I've known them for 9+ years. Most of the time it doesn't really feel that long and then other times it does. They may seem different from each other but really we are all more similar than we seem. Danielle and I became friends almost instantaneously, I feel very comfortable and at home with her. We have similar problems and share the same sense of humor. I feel like I can really sit down and have a serious conversation with her and spill my guts out. I feel like she really understands me. She's sometimes quiet and introverted, but when we get together its always fun.

Violet and I were friends in 8th grade and remained friends, but it wasn't really until the end of junior year in high school that we became really good friends. Violet can get loud and rowdy sometimes, she's usually high energy and almost always in a good mood, and usually puts me in a good mood. She is always up for going out, I can't count on her to be there to hang out spontaneously. We make fun of her because she is sometimes ditzy and gullible, but she's still smart and responsible.

The three of us are all great friends and when we get together there's always tons of talking and laughing. I''m grateful I have such great friends that I know will last a lifetime.
