Never growing up

Am I being mean?

Ok so I have two classes with this girl, so we usually walk out to the parking lot after class is over. Its nice to have a friend and someone you can call in case you forget an assignment or have a question, which you don't want to ask the professor. So anyway whats starting to bug me is that she will spend a lot of time talking to me in the parking lot. Like we stop and are just standing there, and I really don't feel like chattin since it's usually like 9:30 at night. I try not to talk a lot so she knows Im not into talking right now, and I avoid as much eye contact as i can without being a total jerk. I mean its late, its usually cold, once it was raining. So last night I thought i was home free, we walked out with another girl and we all said bye, but as I was opening my car door she yelled something to me, and I should have just ignored her but I didn't. So she starts walking back to me! Nooooo. I already have my foot in my car, and after a couple of minutes im still half way into the car, yet she continues to talk. Whats up? Doesn't she get the clue?

I mean I'm a woman I can talk a lot i guess, but not at that time and not that subject matter (usually school or work). I think I am being a little mean. I usually try too hard to be nice, but for some reason I get testy at that time of night when I just want to race home.
