Last Weekend

WARNING: Long detailed account of my weekend.

Well last weekend was pretty good, I kept kinda busy. Well after I was done with "work" on Friday I went over to Danielle's. She actually called earlier that day to see if I wanted to do something, which was a nice surprise. Danielle, Milton, and I ended up playing miniature golf, which was fun. I kinda sucked, I think I did better last time we played. Well after that we went to go grab something to eat, fast food, and we were just sitting talking for awhile it was nice. We made a 10:30 showing of "Crash" a really good movie, even though it was sad. It made me cry, but also gave you something to think about. So I was home by 1:00am which left me some time to study for my midtern the next morning, but I totally didn't need to study. At the time I was a little freaked out, but turns out that I shouldn't have even worried.

Saturday rolled out of bed around 8 to make sure i was all coffeed up to go take my midterm at 9. By 11 I was at the mall fighting for a parking space. Can you believe this older well to do woman totally stole my space? Anyway I tried to get in and out as quickly as possible, I already knew what I wanted, but I guess a lot of other people were in Robinsons May getting a last minute mothers day gift. For my mom Donna Karans Cashmere Mist, I hope she like it. When I got home I called my dad to see if he was busy cause i wanted to visit, he wasn't. So I showered, had some breakfast, made the hour drive to his place, and was there by 1:30. It was a nice visit we went to starbucks for coffee (I definitely needed more of that, lol) and we played dominoes for awhile. Then off to see Kingdom of Heaven, turned out to be an ok movie. (Crash was better) After the movie we went to a Japenese fusion restaurant called Octopus, weird I know huh? But man they had yummy food. By the time I got home it was 10:30 and Josh's babysitter, Wanda was there with her son. Ended up playing Monopoly till about midnight then I had to relinquish my property and money to the one I thought needed it most cause i was dead tired.

Sunday morning cleaned up a little before i had to get ready for 11 o'clock mass, for Mothers Day. Mass was okay, its the first time Ive been there since November or December of last year. Seemed like people who recognized me from before when I was a regular attendee, were trying to convince me to keep coming to the church. I wasn't convinced, to say the least. Two of my aunts and their families came to church with us too, and afterward we had breakfast then headed back to the house where I felt like I had no one to talk to. I spent the day entertaining my six year old cousin. Luckily my younger sister came over so I wasn't totally alone. After our "company" left my mom, little sister and I started putting together a puzzle, but we didnt really get to finish it, cause my sister had to leave before it got later. I stayed up for a while working on the puzzle, it was actually quite relaxing. I probably would have finished it that night but my mom was going to bed, and my sister was already asleep, so I was going to watch Josh. And theres no way he would leave me alone while i was working on the puzzle, plus I wanted to watch Greys Anatomy.

So I wake up the next morning at around 9 cause Josh is crying, and Liz is in the garage and cant hear him. So I run to get him, and try to comfort him but hes already upset. It takes awhile to calm him down. While I am looking for my sister I pass by the dining room table where I was working on the puzzle, to see that it is completed. My older sister who hadn't been working on the puzzle at all the previous night took it upon herself to finish it. I was dissapointed, there wasnt a lot left to do, i mean she couldnt even let me finish the puzzle. Yeah I know its not a big thing, but it bugged me.

Anyway that was my weekend, i actually enjoyed it, it was quite the opposite of the rest of the week, unfortunately.
