im broke, in more ways than one

wow its feels weird to be on here after such a long time. I seem to always remember my blog when I am feeling frustrated and need an outlet for all the crap thats building up. So basically right now its mostly financial issues, having to pay bills and deal with lost credit cards and changed account numbers. So i sent payments to a closed account that already had late fees. And now i have to borrow money to pay a bill thats due tomorrow, yuck. Im going to have to take out a student loan, and need to ask my dad to co-sign (great fun).

Its weird im soo broke and all i can think of doing is going shopping to buy new pretty shiny things. Does anyone see a vicious cycle?? The only other thing that would make me feel better would be a guy, but i have issues with those, thats a whole other blog drama though.

So if anyone who stumbles across this blog wants to send me money....

neglect

so ive been neglecting my poor blog its sooo sad. Nothing much to report. Turns out ive been neglecting my allergies too. I didnt really know i had allergies, but i guess i do. I had to go to the docs office cause my ear starting bugging me. I felt like I had muffled hearing, and I heard a low humming sound. Turns out like my sinus'were inflammed or something and I was all stuffy, even though I didnt really feel anything but my ear. So it spread to my ear i guess, now I have to take allergy meds and a nasal spray, which is kinda yucky. I feel like im an old woman, its crazy. Well my ears not bothering me anymore so thats good, at least, but i forget to take the meds sometimes.

Other things i've been neglectintg - my dad, havent called him or went to visit in a long time. I just feel like it reminds me of what i havent done yet. Reminds me that i have been neglecting my career whatever that may be.

In Transition

so my sisters staying with us now, its weird. I thought it would be annoying mostly, but today was nice I felt like a kid again when all my sisters and my dad lived here. Like we were reminiscing and messing with the neighbors dog. it was nice, maybe it will stay this way, and we wont kill each other.

controversial issue

Yes i am talking about abortion. Ive been seeing a lot of articles about abortion lately because people are trying to reverse the roe v. wade decision. I do believe that a women (and a man) should have control over there lives, and in the womens case their bodies. I definitely dont think that abortion is a black and white issue, there are lots of things to think about. I mean we should think about late term abortions, intances of rape or incest, and the mothers health.

But I dont think that we are heading in the right direction with this ban on abortions that tries to make it black or white. These are the articles I looked at today.

Oscar's Civil War

I read this article today on msn about the oscars, found it interesting

Red and blue states bash and boost 2005's best picture nominations

"But, in our polarized times, movies are treated less like art and/or entertainment than red state/blue state Rorschach tests for a schizophrenic nation, an America so deeply divided in its values and beliefs that every film fiction is bound to offend someone."

Its kinda heavy, for a slacker like me, but i read it through, agreeing for the most part.

So dont miss the Oscars Sunday March 5th, 5pm for us westcoasters, its bound to be some fun social commentary.

I've yet to watch all the nominees for best picture, having only watched 2, but I still have a shocking favorite.lol
